We ran into a few issues regarding the food I ordered for Will's birthday party, namely the cake. I selected a barnyard scene from a catalog - with a RED barn. When I picked up the cake yesterday the barn and trim were HOT PINK. We are learning that pink is a very acceptable color here for boys, though. I bought some Korean Huggies only to find that they come decorated in pink and purple hearts. Daddy was not very thrilled about this. I just hope Will doesn't look back on these photos and ask us why he was eating pink cake and wearing 'pretty panties' on his first birthday!
