In Paradise!!!!!!
No really....we got in! Paradise Education Center is a charter school here in Surprise. It is an excellent school and kindergarten spots are very hard to come by. They admit students on a lottery system and Ryan was selected today. YEAH!!! We were dreading putting him into public school in Surprise and the drive to and expense of worthwhile private schools in Phoenix was prohibitive. This school is on a year round calendar, which means he'll start school at the end of July. It just hit me that I only have 3 months of at home all day with my oldest baby. He's so excited and ready to go...it's going to be tough for me, though. I will miss him! BUT, for today we're just thrilled that we got a spot. It's off to ice cream to celebrate! (Heath and I will use any excuse to make the trek to Baskin Robbins)

Here and There and Everywhere!
It's been really busy the past 2 weeks! We had a great visit with my mom and spent time hiking the White Tank Mountains, visiting Scottsdale, and touring around Sedona. AJ was a trooper throughout all of the outings! This past weekend he and I flew out to CA for my Grandmother's memorial service. He was a great little traveler and it was nice to have some quiet time with him. Ryan and Will stayed home with Heath - they had a ball going to the zoo, a t-ball game, and (of course) Home Depot!
Oh....we had a celebrity on our flight!! Guy Fieri from the Food Network! I had a chance to say hello while we were waiting in the baggage claim area. He was impressed with AJ's hair!

First Day of Spring!
What AJ thinks of his phototherapy
Happy Spring! We're doing alright - Aiden is still a bit jaundiced so we've spent the past few days at home with him under the 'bili-lights'. The good news is that he's responding very quickly to the phototherapy treatment. His bilirubin levels dropped by over 2 points within one night of therapy. He'll be retested on Friday to see if we can take him off of the lights.
Ryan and Will are getting very excited for the Easter Bunny......I hope ol' EB is prepared come Sunday morning. My guess is that right now - Thursday - he is decidedly NOT prepared!!
Here's a quick video of Will - he loves to sing! He is trying so hard to learn his letters and numbers. He can recognize the letter 'W' but calls the rest of the 'Numbah 1'.

Springtime!
We have had gorgeous spring weather here (even though it's still winter) lately and have been taking advantage of being outdoors before it gets too hot. Yesterday I braved going out alone with my 3 boys to the Spring Festival. We had a great time - Ryan and Will got some much needed running, jumping, and screaming time and Aiden enjoyed a nice long, warm nap in our new stroller......this thing is ridiculously huge but is the only stroller available that will accomodate our our carseat and carry both Will and AJ. The bonus is that there is a jump seat for Ryan if and when he ever wants to ride. Not likely. Will was excited to see the Easter bunny but got shy when it came down to it....he's all talk now and wants to "See Easha Bunny adain" (see easter bunny again). Even though I haven't slept a full night since last Wednesday I feel great and couldn't be happier.
